When faced with the reality of having an incurable illness, you need the best care possible. St Luke's Hospice Plymouth provides that care to hundreds of people a year from throughout the South West of Devon and the South East of Cornwall. The care is not just medical and nursing, but incorporates practical, financial, emotional and spiritual support as well.
The Hospice is staffed by over 700 volunteers and 200 paid staff and costs more than £5 million a year to run, with in excess of £3 million being given by the local community.

Formedia and Tamar Science Park have joined forces with Plymouth's charitable trust The Drake Foundation to help some of the most deprived areas in the city.
The Drake Foundation is made up of city leaders from across the community and has been raising money over the last decade for good causes in the area. With over 11,000 children in the city living below the poverty line, the foundation’s work is more important now than ever.
The foundation is working in partnership with the Devon Community Foundation on the Grassroots Challenge, a government-led initiative helping communities raise funds to support local charities and volunteer groups. All donations received by the Drake Foundation are matched £1 for £1 by the government.
Formedia built the website for the foundation and is providing ongoing Public Relations support as part of our commitment to supporting worthwhile causes that make a real difference to the community in which we live. Tamar Science Park is also providing office facilities for the Drake Foundation chief executive Steve Davis.
