Requirement: To establish Finance Cornwall and Finance South West as the primary investors in small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) across Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Somerset and Bristol. Finance Cornwall and Finance South West, part-funded by the EU through the Objective One and Objective Two Programmes respectively, have invested heavily in the region’s businesses, both creating jobs and leveraging significant money into the South West economy.

Result: Formedia focused on raising the profile of both organisations in the local and regional business and national trade media, developing case studies on the success of the companies in which Finance Cornwall and Finance South West have invested. Formedia also redeveloped both websites in support of the organisations’ aim to invest as much money as possible before the 2008 funding comes to an end. Formedia continues to work closely with Finance Cornwall and Finance South West to ensure the successful launch of the proposed follow-on South West Investment Fund in 2009.
